It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in a two-day event of The Lancet-CAMS Health Conference, which will be held virtually by Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) and The Lancet on November 10-11, 2021. This multidisciplinary event is aimed to facilitate important global discussions about research experiences for some of the most important health topics facing us today, such as COVID-19 and climate change.
There will be 6 sessions including Population medicine and public health, COVID-19, Launching event for The Lancet Commission on diagnostic, Climate change and Health, Non-communicable diseases control, and Demography and health.
We will introduce four Lancet Commissions: The Lancet Commission on diagnostic: transforming access to diagnostics; The 2021 report of The Lancet Countdown on health and climate change: code red for a healthy future; A WHO-UNICEF-Lancet Commission: A Future for the World’s Children and the initiate of ‘Children in All Policies 2030’ and A Lancet Commission on 70 years of women’s reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health in China.
At this conference, we’ll invite top medical experts and researchers domestically and globally to make keynote speeches and organize high level scientific discussions on the future of health development. Moreover, we hope this conference could strengthen the global communication and collaboration to provide solid scientific evidence to inform policies and enhance the health and wellbeing of humankind.
